Guys, don't you feel that the beige on the interiors is a little dark/dirty-ish? I would have liked if it was the i10 beige. The grey should have been a little darker as well?

At Last the car will be launched now.

So it is confirmed, as it has come in the news as well(see the last line in the news, mentioning that the launch is on Saturday).

Now let us see how it can take the fight to the Swift. Also let us see how the waiting period of Swift comes down.

I know its a lame question, but would the gear box be same as its on Swiftvdi or it would be tata traditional gearbox ?

In my view a very valid question, I am now thinking if the Quadrajet would get the gen 1 Indica/gos box or the one from Palio MJD. If it is from the Palio would the 475 IDI TDI get the same ?

Or are Tatas going to launch the Vista with 3 gear boxes ?

1) 1.2 SAFIRE + Palio's box (who cares about that version anyway)
2) Quadrajet + Palio MJD's box
3) 475 IDI TDI + the famous old glue box from Gen 1

Just wondering - why can't it be an all new gearbox? It doesn't have to be borrowed from Swift, Indica V2 or Palio.

That is the point. But there are a few who think on those lines. People have views. It is okay to say one is not willing to buy an Indica as many were used as taxis but it is another thing to sneer or laugh at people who bought an Indica. And I wouldnt mind giving a good tongue lashing to such people who laugh or sneer.

I have used both the generation of INDICA's 4speed box and the V2. We remember how we were offered free upgrades on the car (Timing Belt / Swing Arms / many other stuff which i cant remember now & Even given a rebate on the tires as they lost their tread). And assure all you guys that we as a family are totally satisfied. Now with the launch of Vista. We are very inclined to have a test drive and check the level of IMPROVEMENTS that TATA has made. And give a CAR that's Flawless in every respect.

We only hope the VISTA is better in all respects when compared to MSIL cars.

That would surely make the Competition run for its Business / Cover.

Any idea about pricing yet ?

It has to be lower (atleast 25-30 K) then the Palio 1.2 which is close to 3.4 (ex showroom) in Delhi , the multijet palio starts from 4.40. So the pricing is going to be something like starting at 3.0 Lakhs for the 1.2 petrol and close to 4.0 lakhs for the multijet. The TDI would start at around 3.6 lakhs. I see Swift & Dzire in trouble here. May be Tata can regain its lost ground by pricing it right. The indica sales are down 32 %.

Yeah bluepulsar, the interior color shades could have been better. Let us wait for the car in flesh.
