the grille is cool and the tail lamps appear good, though straight out of a chinese car.

sadly, the odd headlamps are still present.

black colour really accentuates the big chrome grills in this version.
Black will look very bling in this innova.

The old grille was a sorepoint in the Innova, looked very bulky and crude. The new grille looks elegant.

From the pics, the bumpers also look new, but I hope that the headlamps get an uplift, the current headlamps has a blackened area which doesn't look good.
Having the multi-reflector clear headlight cluster like the Thai-model would look very good.

Looks good. The family looks and genes are spreading thru out Toyota range it seems.
This will boost the sales of Innova for sure.

Regarding the auto box, it will be a welcome change in India. Many city commuters are buying Petrol Innova. I'm sure some would definitely appreciate it. As well as I remember, Toyota Kirloskar Motors were also producing gearboxes and transmission parts in their Bidadi plant B. Won't it be easy for them to launch an auto version?
Thru out middle east, africa and many far east countries, Innova is available in auto version. I am yet to see a diesel auto though! :wish: :wish:

Dream Diesel A/T

Me too wish for an auto version of the Diesel Innova, but the last diesel Automatic that I remember being available under 15 lakhs is the Octavia A/T which is also not in production anymore.

well, its not quite cheap actually, its close to 12 lakhs on-road, for the VLX.

btw you are one among the rare to find the scorpio auto priced LOW, every other person has said that its overpriced!
