I think we're going to be seeing a lot of this car. Its the MARUTI of the future. Guess now is the best time to buy it, can cash in on the novelty factor

The A-Star has me floored man! Its much better looking now than what came out in the press and stuff like that. Dying to go see it in the flesh.

The three things I hate about hatchbacks in general
1. Cramped rear seat space
2.Small dicky space
3.Not very safe in accidents with big vehicles

Hope MARUTI have remedied this with the A-Star. They sure have given it the width, wonder what the rear leg space is like and the boot, wonder what it will hold. I'm ok with good rear space with normal under 6 foot individuals in the front seat and space for atleast 5 big soft luggage bags. About crash safety, that God the car is exported to Europe. Its bound to be safe

The pricing is done in such a way that most of the guys would plonk for the ZDi since it gives more features a relatively less price increase

Damn good piece from MARUTI, its going to wipe out the bad name they got with the ESTILO and VERSA and such models

I had a test drive yesterday and it was nothing special about it. It was too slow if compared with any other rivalry car like Spark, i10.

I had hard brakes on the a-star zxi (TD Car) equipped with ABS + EBD, the car skids. I tried the same 2nd time at around 70 kmph, again the car skids as if no ABS + EBD was there.

Right direction selected by Maruti with its 'A Star'.

Excellent Mileage.
Low on emission

The STAR balances other aspects also with
Adequate power
Safety with Airbags and ABS
Small in size for crowded cities.
