Now when did that happen? Bangalore had/has the 'reputation' being the city with the most expensive fuel prices.

i think that 52.95 is for premium fuel. Normal 87 octane petrol is rs.51.05 /ltr in hyderabad. Luckily just on the evening of the hike i got filled enough fuel and had to refill today only-so saved some pennies

I had filled the petrol in my friend's bike on the first day of the new prices. Will go back and check the price.

Generally fill diesel at either IOC near Bowring club or SHELL on V.M. Rd. Just back from both stations and was shocked to know that IOC have stopped selling normal diesel, are selling only xtra mile at Rs 37.15 approx. Checked Shell, knew they stopped selling normal diesel a month back. Guess whats the price of their shell extra = Rs 42.45, a difference of Rs 5.30/- which is huge.

My point is that the comman man is getting conned and forced to fill premium diesel or petrol for no fault of his. THis is sad, you cannot force someone to fill only xtra mile or shell extra. Not that I have a problem, but it does pinch.

Hasn't this become a way of life in India? Ultimately its a sellers market in most areas...sadly..

Licenses should be cancelled for all those outlets who refuse to give normal petrol to consumers. It's strange that IOC company retail outlet on Mahadevpura doesnt sell normal fuel whereas one in Cox town sells it. I don't understand this.
