tabrez, safety does matter, but in this thread, the question is what does the non enthusiast indian motorist want? Safety surely dosent feature high in the list, although a feeling of 'toughness' surely does.

Best car in the Indian context

1) Price = A bicycle

2) Fuel Economy = Bajaj Boxer CT ( 101 kmpl under normal road and traffic conditions )

3) Interiors & ride quality = Maybach

4) Power & Speed & Handling = World's fastest car ( any super car preferably Ferrari )

5) Safety = Actually not required but Space on the dashboard to stick a murti is enuff !!

thats it !

Wow! That's a news to me. Don't know a single CT owner getting anything beyond 80.

Hey man, that would be the best car in ANY context, anywhere in the world (well, maybe the developed markets like the US and EU would require safety, too).

Now if you could only design and manufacture this car, you would become super rich!

Oops, wait a minute, you wouldn't! Not if you are selling it at the price of a bicycle!

2. Coupe
3. Unreal grip levels.
4. Safe.
5. Wet dream
