Yes, Mangalore just around 6PM today. I saw the car at around 4 and requested for a TD. They said they are not supposed to show it, but my persuasion worked.

MJD 1.3 was known for its light weight. It is even lighter than 1.4 petrol engines. It is just a little heavier than FIAT 1.4 NA and little lighter than 1.4 T-jet. So, 70 Kg lighter than a 1.6 NA is not surprising.

Not sure of the current status but last week Bimal, old airport road told me to check for TD car by 14 Feb.

Man, what total inconsistency! I've spoken to three dealerships in Gurgaon & they've all categorically denied any knowledge of the cars having arrived or being on the way

Sumanji, I can understand your pain, even I am so . Dealers at north will get their demo cars next week. Just hold on to your fiesta for a few more weeks, then you have between verna 1.6D, sx4 ddis and a new fiesta to choose from.

Sid, I may even hold on to it for another six months but I need to TD some NEW cars immediately

I didn't. Colleague's bro when he went to service their Swift ( they will buy this after selling their Swift).

Seems it will be priced between 8-9 lacs ( as was told to him).

Checked with the Maruti dealer on Lavelle Road, Bangalore. The Demo Car along with the first consignment are enroute. Should hit the showrooms in a week.

Re- the link to Motor Beam - check out the 3rd pic - some duffer seems to have revved the diesel motor to 5,000 rpm with the temp indicator still at 'C' and the the fuel level showing 'E'
