Only one word, BOOOOOOOORING. I can't believe they went back one generation and call it new.

This so called "new" front design was there in Singapore first and then that was facelifted with the front design which we had earlier.

And what's up with those AC knobs. Looks like they were fitted on later. They look horrible in quality.

Brilliant. Now, a brochure on expanded service network will be nicely complimentary.

It has 12-spoke "Allooy" wheels!

But yes, the changes aint really a "beat-the-market" stuff. Looks like HM aint really interested in selling the Cedia.

The new grille makes the Cedia look less sporty now. Price cut/discounts look imminent in the near future.

Folks,
I am seeing there are more negative responses. Agree it could have been better – but at least here Mitsu had always been a bit back seater when it comes to such things; so the expectations should have been a bit moderate. My take on the changes that are observed.

Extended bumpers – this is from existing sports – so are the dimensions – rating 8/10
New Grille – poor – 5/10
Sporty Antenna – again from existing sports – 6/10
New alloys – 8/10
Beige interiors – same as present spirit – no change
Kenwood HU – welcome addition – 9/10
Climate control – welcome addition, but the looks of knobs could be better – 8/10
Immobilizer – welcome addition 9/10
Overall – 8

Adding a spoiler and some mod to the grille can give it sporty look externally. Internally they could have retained the black option.

Also I like the black interiors. I hope they retained the same in sports model.
I already predicted this grille in the other thread - this was used for 1 year on the Lancer model before Lancer X was launched in US. In my opinion, it does look better than the existing smiley grille which seems to lack character - but to each his own

The first pic looks almost esteem-like.

Neither too good, nor too bad. Plain and vanilla looks.

The new Honda city will eat it alive. I would call this suicide.

There are people ready to put there money where there mouth to get the new Lancer but no HM-Mitsu looks like are content with these silly facelifts.

If honda can bring the new city within a month of international launch what's stopping Mitsu is getting the car after nearly 2 years.

Like others said, the AC knobs stick out oddly. And there seems to be horrible slanting gap between the glove compartment cover, and the rest of the dash ??

If the steering leather grip was in black, would have added some contrast to the interior front (maybe along with gear knob)

The boot access from rear seat is a nice addition, as is Climate control. HU seems very cool - I don't know what the Nav icon means - since there is no mention of any GPS system.
Alloys don't impress though not worse than the current plain looking ones

It does seem they have added a good bit of kit for not much more than the old price ?

The front is more boring than a nine year old Indica or Esteem. I like the seats, but that's really about it :-s

The only things interesting are the DVD HU and climate control. I'd have gladly had both in my car :P.
