Hi All,

I was on my way back from Pondicherry to Bangalore after completing my tour with few cousins few weeks back and came across this hatch back covered completely in black colored clothing. Was really unable to get to know any company logo on it. But looking at the car's side (though not in pic here) it had a neat egg shaped side indicator. To be precise abt the location that I saw this car, it was after Kanchipuram I joined the chennai express way and just infront of me I saw this car zooming and I had to rip my car(Indica XETA) too at 120kmh and then I caught this car and took a pic and took a whole 2 min video.
Also the front head lamp was almost like a VW Golf headlamp. I took some video of this car. Will post video once am back home after my official tour.

Difficult to say what car it is, could be the new i20 from hyundai.
What temp number did the car have?

Picture is not revealing much! Might be if you are able to upload the 2 min video there might be some way of taking a guess of what car it is.

This must be the i20, 2 reasons - Hyndai plant in Sriperumbudur & Looking at the rear view mirrors.

Anup pictures doesn't reveal anything. It's hard to make any guesses, will be helpful with your video.

Keeping fingers crossed, Hope it turns out to be Golf only. I am really crazy about that car.

My guess is i20. After having a glance at the rear lights i think its mostly the i20.

It must be an i20.

The rear(tail lights, windscreen shape and tilt etc) is very much like it. Also, as stated in an earlier post, the Hyundai plant is nearby.
