The alloys are available as seen in the pic but not an option per se, you get them at the dealer.
Alloy is not a good idea for Bolero if you rough use it (the way it is suppose to be) - Unless of course you fix off roading alloys like Pajero, Land Cruiser quality.

Mahindra dealers used to be the worst of the lot in pre - Scorpio days. I thought they would change after the Scorpio was launched but they learnt to smirk at anything less than a Scorpio.

One "senior" sales executive, on being asked about the tyre life, replied that tyres would be good for 4000 - 5000 kilometres !!!!! I went to another dealership in another city and bought a vehicle.

I have a question.

The bolero has the screws connecting the door to the body exposed.
Is it possible for someone using a power tool to remove these screws and steal it.

Was gonna dig up this thread to post if anyone saw the advertisements and I read this.

Congrats!

How much did it cost and did they add any new features for the interior?

btw "on-road thane the vehicle comes to 7,69,692/-" to be precise! and "will be available in bombay within 7 days" ...i got this as a text message from the showroom sales exec.(Quote)
Thats almost in the Scorpio price range -after all who would pay Rs 8L and buy a Bolero CRDe? Pricing is too unrealistic by M&M. Wonder what made them price it in this bracket? I am a Bolero owner since 7 years. The Bolero is too good and dependable for a lower range SUV, but not worth Rs 8L under any circumstances even with a Pajero engine leave alone the CRDe.

Its coming to 8.19L in Bangalore. Out of that 98,000 is road tax - yes - its not a typo. IT capital of India. What to do. Its expensive.

Nope - no changes in interior compared to present Slx. I guess it talks - eeks.

I wish the 2nd row back rest folded at least.

I wish - but personally I don't like the Scorpio - now now - Scorpio lovers don;t jump on me. Moreover I feel the Scorpio driver seat is crampy compared to Bolero.

This was my dream for long - Bolero ka stability - Scorpio ka power. I know its only 97 bhp compared to Scopio's 115 bhp so don't take it literally. Mebbe the power to weight ratio is now better in Bolero.

Bolero's door screws are exposed. And one need not connect any power tools for opening it. Normal star screwdriver is enough to loosen the screws and one can slid hand to unlock the door from inside. I had done so thrice as I forgot my keys in ignition.

The new Turbo DI Bolero screws are covered by plastic cladding. But I do believe it is not matter to remove that decorative cladding.
