Read it right guys

After meeting LBM , while going back home i saw a nissan micra

Orange Colour (was looking cute)
Couldn't get any pics for the same and i couldn't see the plates but they were either white or red ( Not blue / yellow for sure)

Spotting : Hansraj College , Delhi University

Anyone Delhite saw this car?

i seen orange one in bombay guess it was sold. later when i saw it in a garage all 4 wheels were out they raised up the suspension here for indian sexy road conditions

Maybe its the same one.

I spotted this Mirca in Tambaram -Velacherry road yesterday night at around 8 Pm.
Sorry I was not able to click pics since it was dark and they were in opposite direction.

There were two Micra and both were covered with black stickers.I felt weird when I saw the head lights of the Micra which was unusual and I thought it might be a import but surprisingly it was Micra. The test vehicles had fog lamps and the distance between head lights and fog lamp seems to be high like Porsche cayenne.The car seems to be in size of Indica V2.

I will try my luck today.

actually the Nissan Micra is a biggish small hatch - a little bigger than the Indica.

The old Micra was pretty much as big as the Hatchback version of the Esteem (called Swift) which was sold by Suzuki in Europe in the late '90's and early 2000's.
It could seat 5 medium built persons in reasonable comfort with some little luggage too. 2 slightly large people could manage in the front seats.

Actually just about an hour ago, I was traveling near the newly constructed naraina flyover in Delhi, it was dark, and I spotted this Nissan Micra (badge was clearly visible, it is NOT the Fiat 500, NOR the Beetle.)

Misfortune of my driving and his changing lanes, this poor quality pic was only that I could manage.

The car is yellow in colour and the number was MH 43 T 23** (cannot remember the last 2 digits.)

The right front fender looked as if it was camoed but I am confused. Is it the upcoming micra? Or the old one?

Can anyone shed light on this?

In the pic, the left side car with low set taillights is the micra.

The low tail light is surely a micra.. but since there is no big difference that I could see between the current model in Europe and the announced version for India, I am also confused!
But no way someone will import a micra for personal use, these days!
So we can expect this to be the 'to be launched' one. I have never seen a micra in yellow colour. May be available for India if they want some resemblence with the VW beetlewithstupid

Sid, Its not exactly yellow, its a sort of Pale pink kind of color, with a pearl finish. I have seen the car twice on Kirti nagar main road. With Mh-43 tr number. And yes it is the old one!

Confirmed, it is the old one. The number plate was on the hatch.
The new version will have the number plate housing in the rear bumper, shown below.

I spotted about 3 Nissan Micra's all in the test gear with black covers all over on the GST road in Chennai. This was on Monday or Tuesday last week. Couldn't click snaps, there was just too much traffic to do that on the move.

The Nissan Micra have been doing rounds in Chennai.

Its a 4 car convoy and they are doing the rounds only in the night!

I spotted it 3 times and they were going in the opposite direction quite fast.
