Tata Safari Left Hand Drive Spotted.

Hello friends,

On 2nd October i spotted a Left hand drive Tata Safari being Tested. It was at Laxmi Road. The Road traffic was constantly moving and i was alone on my Honda Activa and since traffic cops were present at every square so could not manage to capture great pics from my cell. These would be for exports to European countries i guess.

That is a common sight near most check nakas. You'll be surprised to know that the Tata Safari has a huge fan following in countries like Italy.

this is a common site mostly here in MUmbai about 5-10 of safaris sumo's scorpios and many other Tata LCVs all LHD going toward the dock area for exports.. mostly during evening times

You see a few on mainland europe. I saw a few old Safaris when I was on holiday in Barcelona last year near the Gurdwara.

They drive all these down?

The car in pic doeskin have it door shut properly I guess.

Safaris are also slightly popular in the Middle East too! I have seen them in Bahrain and Dubai atleast!

Saw this same white safari LHD in coimbatore today, with stickers "ON TEST" in front and rear glass.

I think its same SUV, since i had seen the wire connector hanging behind rear number plate, even today. Tata didnt notice it for a year? or it is intentionally left hanging?

i saw was an 4x4 LHD with TN 38 TC number

a TAI member also spotted this LHD safari in coimbatore.

seems TATA must be testing this vehicle but isnt this long time now for test vehicles.
