Has the slump in the economy influenced your car purchase decision?

The slump in the economy has made me love my car more than ever. I think it'll serve me another 5 years min. At the max, I might go in for a new music player.

That's about it or a second hand Palio 1.6 GTX/S10 SP

same here .. i was thinking of buying a car this year and then the slump in economy and also some basic financials got me thinking!

firstly my car is just 4 yrs old, first owner and clocked 35k kms. going by GTO's thread/article on buying a new car, it would've been an unwise decision to sell the car now for peanuts and invest on a new car.

so, like you mentioned, me too love my car all the more now .. so what if its my trusted old indica war horse

In my case, my car's EMI is also getting over in Jan. Hence, it'll be officially my car so I think I should enjoy it more

Time for Mods! Also, since we recently conculded 2 mariages in the family, it makes sense to wait and buy a larger vehicle in the future.

I'm trying my small bit to help economy by buying more cars this year

After Q7 and Superb now my eyes are set on Fortuner (to replace 2 yrs old innova) due later this year.

I dont think the economy slump will really influence our purchase as long as VFM cars produced by Fiat, Maruti stick around...

The slump in economy has influenced me to go for higher studies next year. As a result, no new car for me
