ABS itself will add a lot of value to the car, Such a big vehicle , it defenitely needs one for sure

Hi friends,

I doubt launching of any GX version aleast by december as no any such model is included in next month's production plan. It may come with as a Jan 2009 model.

As I said before...ETA is approx 3-4 months as per my limited knowledge

i guess to keep manufacturing cost low and to sell ex (higher price 4x4) they removed it from base model.
But then it seems like a pure sales and marketing strategy.

If you spend 2.5 lacs more you get 4x4 with ABS (Best Choice sar)

If you spend 4 lacs more you get 4x4 with ABS and Airbags Sar..(My recommendation sar...)

This is great news indeed. The beast does need ABS. But they should have offered it across the board as an option at extra price like in the Verna. I would have definitely opted for ABS on my LX for an extra 25-30k. The additional features in the EX (except the roof AC) don't really interest me enough to actually pay extra for them!
