Alloy is available only in ex 4x4, where as in gx it is also available for 2 wd as well as the 4wd

GX is a good bet. Note that the parking is a sensor and not a camera like the VX, which is fine. Will probably last longer than the camera.

Now if only they could integrate the vents for the rear ac into the roof panel to make it less ugly and also make the third row seats front facing, it would be complete. Oh ! also need to fire the person in charge of Quality Control at the factory.

The site is better than the older one.

GX is certainly a good bet. This actually meets what I would like to pick and chose from the VX.

Also notice that 'Mineral Red' color is back and dual tone offered only on GX. Seems like they are trying to make the GX as a special package.

Its good move by TATA to launch GX to push the sales.

Website is always excellant but I would like to know If they improved the quality?

If I am buying Safari I prefer taking my doctor and astrolger to choose the vehicle from stock yard to be on safer side. I hope soon I get confidence.

Ravi.

Surprising that the difference between gx and the vx is a paltry 85000 rupees.. would have been better if they had managed to price the same atleast a lakh and 25000 below the vx

Had a bad cam(Nokia E51 ) and hence didnt bother taking more pix.

Its looks very good. The seat cover was leather plus cloth(?), the sides etc were of leather and remaining areas, cloth.

Well Fellas,
Saw a safari with dual tone paint today it reminded me of Pajero, It will definitely give tough competition to pajero (In terms of paint job) infact it was looking uglier. But then looks are subjective.

What causes this fishtailing during braking in few safaris? I think the new GX and VX version comes with ABS and EBD.Does this feature EBD rectifies this fishtailing problem? or what is the use of this feature 'EBD'?
