Enters Safari GX

You guessed it..

Many safari lovers always wanted ABS, but due to a steep price of VX model, they rather settled for EX model mostly.

Enters Safari GX, grandly positioned between 2.2 EX and VX, it has all the features of EX + ABS

ETA is approx 3-4 months as per my limited knowledge.

This is all i could gather

Wow.

This is going to be good news to lot of Safari buyer's.

I always wanted the EX to have ABS. Sad but happy for new buyers.

This is great. I really wanted the ABS but didn't want all the other electronic crap that comes with the VX like rear camera etc, cause I don't see it working for more that the first year or so. They should include he airbags as well in the GX version. i.e make all safety features standard on the GX without the electronic gadgetry like DVD, backup camera etc..

Great news! I wish the 4x4 also get a similar variant!

I am all eyes for this one!

ABS is a very important feature and a good move by tata to provide it as a seperate variant.

They could have even put the ABS as an option on the EX ( just a thought)

ABS as an option for EX = GX

Good move this. I hope the price diff is not more than 25k between the 2 variants.

Exactly my thoughts.. why not provide it as an option. I mean to all the versions . Seems like they want to position it seperately to cater to all the segments. I see it mostly likely to be made to order as to keep costs down or to challenge the competition.

Where did you get this news from, any SOURCE for this news.

It would be good if the news is true for many Safari lovers

I'd rather not discuss sources etc here on this thread. If anyone needs specific information request you to PM me across

WOWIEEEEEEEEEEEEeeee.... If this can come before March '09 then my decision is made as of this moment!!

Wonder if this will provoke Mahindra to launch a 4x4 mHawk soon!! That, IMHO, is the only gap they have in their product line up as of the moment!
