BEST (INDIA)

1) (not in any particular order) Honda Civic, City, Accord (all 2008 new versions)
2) BMW Series 3,5,7
3) Fiat Linea
4) Fiat Grande Punto
5) Camry Toyota

WORST (INDIA)

1) Hyundai Accent (yuck)
2) Chevrolet Spark (Loris Eyes)
3) Swift Dzire
4) Wagon R
5) Octavia (Old)
6) All Tata Cars (except Sumo Grande and Perhaps Elegante concept)
NON INDIAN BEST
Aston Martin DB9, Lambhorgini Diablo, Gallardo and Murcielago, Suzuki Kizashi 1,2,3 (IM SURPRISED NOBODY MENTIONED THESE BEAUTIES), etc

Best: Mondeo, Civic. The Aveo and original Palio lights are pretty good too. I like the Indica family of lights for their functionality though they are not necessarily the prettiest around. The new Honda Accord tail lights are also good.

Worst: Original Scorpio

2. RR Phantom(the tail-lights are too small for it and spoil the tails look and are almost like mirror images of those of the Mini cooper!)

Also forgot to add - I think the Sumo Grande tail lights are very very wierd. The vehicle itself has a flat slab like behind and the tail lights seem to accentuate that further. A pity since the Grande is so well proportioned from all other angles.

Best from Indian cars : 5 series. They look great during the day. And jaw-droppingly beautiful at night.

Worst from Indian cars:
Scorpio : New / current design. What was Mahindra thinking?
Indica : Tired of the xmas tree lights now.
Grande : Toy story
Endeavour : Kills an otherwise great looking SUV
Previous gen Accord : More of a billboard than a light. Too large and out of proportion.
Sonata Embera : For copying the Accord. Thumbs down.

The Chevy Spark has a great design if you consider how they add character to the cute li'l hatch. On another note, I prefer the Octavias rear lights to the Lauras. The former lends a cleaner proportionate look.

1) BMW 5 series ( I almost crashed into it just looking at it and forgot to brake ).
2) Maruti Baleno ( function over form ).
3) Maruti Swift ( hatchback ).

Worst from Indian cars.

1) Tata Indica.
2) G2HC and G3HC.
3) Zen Estilo.
4) Mahindra Logan.
5) Tata Indigo ( all versions ).

International best.
Porsche 911.

Worst International.
Fiat 500 ( the modern version ).
VW Beetle ( the modern version ).

Indigo CS has very nice tail lamps, eventhough it is not very radical. But simple and subtle.

I somehow never liked the tail lights of the phantom.

The best lights apart from the BMW 5-series on an Indian car would be on the Chevy SR-V. Also i feel the Spark has cute tail lamps like GTO said.

The worst are Mahindra Scorpio's definately with another serious competitor Sumo Grande.
