Such is the relaibility of Maruti vehicles and network of service centres...atleast in India. This is where common man rely on Maruti. Any layman mechanic who just know ABCD of car repair could repair it without any hassle. This is not true of any other cars. I bet it.
A car of any make in the country can be driven from Bangalore to Mumbai with just fuel in it. That has nothing to do with Maruti or any thing.

Honda is Japanese and so is Suzuki.
Except for the fact that Honda quality is flawless and Maruti build quality(I didn't mean reliability or safety) is questionable, Honda can be considered to be a Maruti which is much bigger, much better and much ahead. The two only cater to different segments of people.
I feel a Maruti can never be compared on positive note to a Honda in India.

Even if you have to look at the A.S.S of Maruti, the quality of work has come down a lot. Just a evil smile from the service advisor doesnt mean that you are getting all the attention to your car. I remember an incident which happened near Bhavani,TN on a Swift and the MSIL mechanics were scratching their heads thinking how to remove the front bumper.

And also you feel the urge to find a A.S.S and stick to that brand only when you feel your car is vulnerable to failures. Think about the people who own the Honda, do they have a service center in every corner of a road. But comparitively there are lot many people who would buy a Honda than the Maruti.

May be your statement would apply if you want to talk about the international market between Suzuki & Honda. But not in India and when it is Maruti Suzuki!
