B B S - Which car has the worst looking backside?

Lets modify this thread to read as - WHICH CAR WITH THE WORST LOOKING BACK SIDE WOULD YOU LIKE TO ADD TO THIS POLL ?

Absolutely - it is Dzire. No doubt about it...

If you are considering SUV/MUV, you can include Sumo Grande also. Pathetic looks

looks like a Pre-KG kid has designed the vehicle.

though santro should be on top its the car as awhole that's ugly.
Swift was a good looking car till they added that awful rear that its such an eyesore
it hurts the eye to look at it.
so my vote is for dZire

Well offcourse we can say new maruti's are coming with not so good looking rear. But by raising the Boot few inches higher the luggage capacity increases atleast on spec.

High boot hampers the rear vision and a pain while reversing the car but now adays with aid of reverse parking sensors we can over come this.

One of the worst back i have ever seen is of Sumo Grande. Tail lights of Old Sumo are better than Grande atleast they integrate well with the body.

LOGAN (Man, did they kind of forget they had a rear on that car!)

I was confused between estillo and a-star. voted for a-star as they still haven't learnt from there mistakes with estillo.

I am deeply disappointed with the backside of the A Star.
With that enormous plastic bumper, they forgot to integrate a ladder to facilitate hauling luggage into that so-called boot!

The Dezire gets my vote here. Maruti have taken a perfectly balanced Swift rear end and made a complete mess of it. IMHO a notchback design would have been better (or maybe a shortened boot as seen in the Indigo CS).

The Estilo is a pretty ugly looking car all around, the A star looks like a hasty shrink job on the Swift's sweet butt - somehow they seem to have messed it up. Nothing though beats the disjointed integration on the Dzsire. Its surprising how they've managed to make a perfectly good looking car like the Swift look so pit of place which is netiher here nor there.

A few more that should feature in this 'illustriuos' list:

Indica (tail lamps can climb up the roof, any moment!)

Scorpio 2G (same as above)

Nissan X-Trail (With that hot a front I'm sure the designer had a tiff with the management and walked out in a huff. He did return out of passion, but ran out in horror on seeing what had been done in his absence

Dezire and A Star both very ugly from back side. The shape is not good at all. Very poor looker from backside.

Among the list above, Dezire definitely has the ugliest/ oddest backside.
But, someone please tell me why is LOGAN not in the list.
For me, the worst rear is that of LOGAN.

IMHO The crown goes to Baleno, A-Star and of course Maruti Versa (Eeco) and everyone's favourite Dzire. Original Santro was worst looking and Xing is definitely Best looking with twin barke lamps. The all time best Butt IMO was Maruti Esteem (with extra Brake Lamps on the boot cover with those amazing 3 stripes reverse lights) and now Honda Civic.

I completely agree with the Dzire. Absolutely horrible, the way they butchered the Swift to come up with that monster.

What about the Ritz? First time I saw a picture of the back of the Ritz I thought it had been rear-ended by a bus! It looks like the designers penned the front 3/4ths of the car and then went home.
