I am surprised by no one mentioning Versa (Eeco) except me.

D-Zire it is. I'm quite surprised by some of the choices here.

The UGLIEST Backsaide, or atleast the Blandest one is the Safari if you really think of it. Too damn boring. Oh and the DZire is and will always be super Ugly.

I can see that DZire wins hands down from the poll (I voted for DZire too - Would have gone for Ritz had it been a choice). But then DZire is one of the best selling entry level sedans in India. Why should MSIL even care?!!

I am wondering what is the purpose of this thread!! To know which car's back is worst looking? Are we educating something here?

I am sorry if I am sounding pessimistic, but this does not serve any purpose. Request mods to close this thread! If I am wrong, I apologize in advance.

There are so many Dzire owners in India who are happy with the product and the boot space too!

DZire and Ritz is what I can think of from the top of my head. The best behinds are Esteem, Accents and Lancers.

Dzire is the winner here, no doubt about it but surprised that Ritz is not part of the list.

Voted for DZire. But why Ritz is not part of the poll ? I thought Ritz has the most awkward back side and leaves a feeling of incompleteness to the whole car considering the side profile .

What about the ugly looking and impractical rear of Maruti Astar. Horrible position of tail lamps and a huge bumper which increases the height of loading luggage.
BTW does anyone know that the Daewoo Cielo had its design made by two team of separate designers. The front part was designed by the designer without the drawing or dimensions of rear which was being crafted by another one. Both the designs were neatly merged and the outcome was one lengthy car. I read it somewhere a long time back.

Infractions: 0/3 (12)

Dzire has an ugly rear-end
But the Ritz gives it a good run for its money in my opinion

6 of the options are from the Maruti stable. Infact, there are too many ugly butted cars, DZire tops the list though, followed by Manza and NHC.

Also, I am yet to see a sedan (evolved from a hatch) which is not butt ugly.

Dzire seems to be pretty high on the list of ugly rears, but the Tata Indigo initially released was way uglier than the dzire.

Rizt not included as an option, else it is Ritz for me.
For now it is DZire. Clearly it boot looks like an addional piece of fitting rather that as part of the car.

We have Linea which is based on Punto! ( quite logical as points make line )
But I agree that Punto is such a stunning and superbly proportioned car that probably the Linea designers didn't have a tough time at all. This affirms the fact that how good Punto is in terms of designing that a hatch converted sedan make other sedans ( even in higher categories ) feel ashamed.

For me its the Dezire. Just looks like someone has forced it or glued it together. when you are paying for a car, you would expect the designers to "think" and design a car, rather than just putting a Butt on a lovely hatchback.
