1) More Power
2) Airbags and ABS - same as SX4
3) Integrated Audio with steering Control - same as SX4
4) Automatic Tranny with Paddle Shift - More than SX4
Ok – we can disagree and move on – just to clarify my way of thinking here.

Auto or manual; petrol or diesel – I consider these as variant level options and not as features which is why I did not consider this. Otherwise extending this argument, one can say that Ford is decades ahead of Honda because they still do not have diesels even on drawing board which is the latest trend.

Amongst other features you can see for yourself. Key missing ones are ACC, alloys, leather etc. Not that Honda cannot add these, but the cost will not remain in C segment at all!

Even for the points mentioned as same, remember SX4 had it a year back and was the first to do it in C segment. One would have expected latest Honda stuff to have a few firsts but it lacks. (Sorry, I know you are an auto tranny fan, but for the reason above, I am keeping the paddles out)

Later i10 and Fabia extended some of these to below C segment also – so A-star having these is no big deal.

Saw the NHC over the weekend, in pristine white, it looks like nothing you have seen before. Just imagine the paddle shift, it puts all the other cars into the stone age. The design is simply awesome, but the old CITY can still be seen in the sides

whats the big deal with paddle shifts?? as if it gives more power or something??

i got sick of a guy who was boasting of paddle shifts in his civic! claiming it gives more power hehehe. and on top that he challenged me for a silly race

his mouth is still wide open

those were the good times. now a days people are more after features than practicality.

most civic owners i know are using their Other car for rides due to the low GC and long wheel base.

my friends are now using the Civic for going for Functions only for show value!!

i guess it makes sense.

and yes i have noticed a really strange thing!

everyone swears for OHC after test driving ANHC !!

guess OHC was more practical and fun to drive.

one guy told me he feels nice that he bought the OHC Vtec after test driving the ANHC!!

he test drove my car. and he just fell in love with it instantly and told me he would give way if he saw me on the rear view mirror haha. he was shocked to know that its a diesel hehe.
i had to tell him to play it down we were already doing a 200kmph in L&T bypass but then again he was sad that he cant convince his family to ever go for a hyundai! no pose value!!

i was shocked!!

as long as honda has that show value attached to it.

city will be segment king!

peace out

Just saw the ANHC in Maroon at the bangalore palace grounds dog show.
I cant say I like the looks of it. The only honda that looks good to me is the Civic and its not that practical on bangalore roads.

Happy that I've booked Fiesta S Platinum with out even bothering to look at or TD ANHC.

Voted for the Fiesta S - mainly for being a driver centric car. BTW, I saw a white ANHC parked on the Brigade Road last Sunday, I liked the looks, although, I havent really liked it in the photographs before -looks much better in flesh.

Isn't it amazing how the ANHC is leading the polls with only a handful of people ever having TD'd it & an even lesser number actually owning it?!!

Very well said. Most people give opinions and argue too after reading reviews rather than TDing themselves.

Just because of:

1. ANHC's looks
2. Seeing the new engine specs
3. Expecting a similar fuel efficiency that of NHC
4. Expecting a similar interior that of NHC

Once they know the last two points are not satisfied in the case of ANHC, they will 'vote-out' ANHC for sure.

I think most of them know that ANHC interiors dont justify the price. You could rather include Honda badge in the last option.

I have voted for ANHC(after the TD so spare me) however it was based on overall package, i still feel Verna is more powerful and more fun to drive however ANHC has got much better looks as well.
FE in ANHC will be less than NHC no matter what Honda claims.
