Highest reading on the odometer!

My 2001 M8000 has clocked close to 110000 kms so far without any major issues. The 80000kms were clocked within that last 5years. It has seen south to the north of Kerala. Has never ever let me down. Had a clutch overhaul one time. Gives consistent mileage between 18 and 19 kmpl. Had all the tyres and battery replaced at 83k. Its due for reregistration next march. Planning to get it repainted completely. Bhpians from Trivandrum : please suggest a good place.

My 2008 Verna VGT clocked a milestone today - 88,888 kms. Although not comparable to some of the other major numbers seen on this forum. Still proud to see her go strong everyday. Eagerly looking for the 100k mark.

My 2003 lancer has covered 133000 km and is 12 years young. No major issues to report thankfully.

Couldn't resist cross posting it here, my first post in this thread I believe.

Clocked 1L kms with my Punto 90HP in 3.5 years since purchase. Hope there's many more such milestones still to be covered.

Car - Swift LDi
Odometer reading - 75575 km
Bought - September 2013

Not a big reading but the time in which the distance is covered is less, I think. Waiting to hit the 150k km mark to upgrade to the next car.

That was not to happen though.

This thread and turbo petrols don't go hand in hand. Diesels are more like it. That said- a friend got to attend the launch at BIC and is super impressed with it. Really tempted hearing his first impressions, but thankfully I can't afford one now.

Wish they had launched the 1.6 DDiS with 320Nm as well.

Punto in 1.6L MJD will give Maruti their run for life. Feel sad seeing the state of affairs at First. Not sure why they aren't launching that engine in their cars rather than donating it to others to try.

Acquired: 2007

Car ran 72k kms in the first 2yrs. Pickup and performance is still strong. Seems will last a lifetime. Sounds a bit gruff now but only concern is the apathy shown by Mahindra which may result in problem sourcing spares.

I have done 1,05000 Kms in my optra magnum tcdi in 3 years 3 months and yet still the beast feels and drives like new.touchwood.
Vento tdi has just started its innings and had done 18,250 Kms in 8 months of ownership.

What a fun thread. Saw it today for the first time. Of my current cars in the family the oldest is our Skoda Superb which has done 104,000 and odd kms in 3 years and 10 months. It is the main work horse of a large family. Does a few short inter-city trips each month. Has not given us cause to complain. Needed to have the clutch assembly replaced at 70k or 80k. Before her the Laura was the workhorse did well over 130k in 8 odd years - don't recall the exact figure - now sold. The charming one was the Standard Herald (owned by my Late father) which did around 130,000k in 20 years from 1965 to 1985. I tend to sell my cars as they approach the 100k mark and upgrade to something newer.
