This thread is great! It motivates me to keep my old car for many more years and not run after new models (and wasting money).

I had done 1,25,000 kms + in my Peugeot 309 GLD. The engine was still in very good shape but it was increasingly difficult to maintain it, so sold it 8 months back.

I did 80000 miles in my Peugeot 309 Sri (130000km) - car was still running when I sold although it was getting a bit ropey in the brakes / suspension area. Car was taken of the road in 1997. My dad ran a 1968 VW Variant to 120000 miles (190000km) and the car was going strong till 1982 (we sold it in 1975). also had a Merc 220D (which never made it to India!) which my uncle took over and ran to around 2000000km - again car was running till 1984 (found the UK website which can tell you whether a car is on the road or not)

Zen 1999 with 1,04500 kms on board with stock clutch.
The pressure plate seems to be on a bit low now, rest intact. Still love to take her on highways and my daily drives. Plan to take it up for modifications later.

5 Speed MPFI 800

Done 70k and going strong on my 2002 5 Speed MPFI 800. I took over from my dad when it was 52k, new shoes + new battery after 3 yrs. Does a good 110, sometimes 117 on golden quadrilateral. City 15kmpl, long drives 19-20kmpl. yes, it sucks with AC on.

45,350 kms on my Accent GLE in 13 months time. Going by this rate I guess it wont be too far to touch 100,000 kms. Vehicle still very lively and in fact the average mileage has increased to 13.5 kms with 95% A/c on.
