That is some feat! How many wheel speed sensor replacements did you need along the way

A car that run's 100 km daily and removing a few holidays has done 15k km in 6 months will have the drained out oil in better condition than that from another car which has low usage, and has done only 10K km in an year.

Re: Highest reading on the odometer!

Just crossed 165,000km on our 2011 Innova Diesel 2.5 V.

And unless we can find another Diesel MPV with proper third row seats under 20 Lakh we (as a family) will probably be driving the Innova past 250,000km.

Never had to replace anything other than the basics with one exception (which wasn't even the fault of the car.)

Had an accident in 2015 during a foggy bengaluru morning when a motorcyclist on a Bajaj Discover 125 suddenly hit the front bumper on the side at around 60kph (we were in the middle of a turn and he hit us from the left) essentially tearing the front of the car off.

We used this as an excuse to get our Type 2 Innova converted to a Type 4 Innova and replaced the stock HU with a 7 inch one from Pioneer.

Re: Highest reading on the odometer!

Some of the cluster pics of my old Fiat Punto. Had clocked 1,58,000 Kms when id sold the vehicle. However unable to locate that pic.

Some of the "milestones" and the highest ODO pic which I could find.

Re: Highest reading on the odometer!

Recently came across this listing in the classifieds section, a 2014 Toyota Innova which has clocked over 420,000 kms, averaging out to roughly 4.4k kms every month in the past 8 years! From the pictures in the listing, it looks like a well-maintained example.

Re: Highest reading on the odometer!

I was looking for a new vehicle. 2 wheelers & 4 wheelers, I'm considering both, even EV scooters. Budget was around 3 lakhs. Only issue was around the safety of a powerful bike. Family was not too keen on getting a bike. So naturally I was looking for a used vehicle. I have seen my friend's Fiesta (1.4 TDCi) classic running fine after 1,75,000 KMs. While researching about the reliability of 1.4 TDCi, I came across this answer on Quora. Ladies and gentlemen I present to you, a humble Figo, neither a Toyota nor a Honda, not even a Japanese for that matter, that had managed to clock 3,46,666 Indian Kilometres! This confirmed my belief that automotive reliability is as much dependent on the owner as it is on the car(except of course ze Germans).

That ain't a Figo's console. Must be a Fiesta but commendable nonetheless.

The same car touched the three lakh kilometres mark today.

Recently it spent a couple of days in a FNG undergoing a few engine related works and also had its front windshield replaced.

With all minor niggles sorted, my friend hopes to drive it for at least 50,000 more kilometres.

A diesel. A petrol variant would have tacho readings up to 7000 or 8000 rpm.

Re: Highest reading on the odometer!

Our 2011 VW Polo 1.2 TDI.
The Car still runs on stock suspension and stock brake pads to date. The clutch has been replaced at the 1 lakh km mark as it was driven in hills and city traffic. The car was not maintained well and the oil change interval has even pushed to the 25k km mark once!. The car runs brilliantly to date except for the ABS Sensors of course.Highest reading on the odometer!-whatsapp-image-20220417-10.11.53-pm.jpeg.
