Hey, i happened to switch on to Zee News on Sunday, with a statement from Maruti Suzuki saying that it would 'slash prices across it's range, so that the customer would reap benefits of low ownership, something that Maruti is famous for..

I confirmed this from the dealer who told me that we could expect a straight discount across all it's range (except the A-Star) in the tune of 5-15k!! :Shockked:

if that isn't good news, i don't know what is!!! clap:

even the A-Star's price has drop in the tune of 13,000 rupees...
A-star LXi:
4.57k (old price)
4.45k (new price)

Swift LXi:
4.22 (old price)
4.09 (new price)

the dealers maintain that all prices have been slashed, except the Grand Vitara which does not benefit from the 4% excise duty...

That's really exciting. Can anyone tell me what amount Maruti has reduced for its luxury sedan, SX4? And any clue about the Swift Dzire?
