Yes, posted by me earlier - but its a head-turner; though I do not like the side and the front view but the rear is really nice....

Actually the black Sierra-Pickup is finished well. They should have maintained the original grille instead of the Merc. I agree the fog lamps look out of place.

I think your tyre upsizing is not correct. I am also using 235 wide tyres on my Sierra. However, they are 235/70/R15 and not 235/75/R15.

On a lighter note, you need to get in touch with this guy...

sunilchakola,

my experience has not been good with a set of wheels having offset was a strained suspension and in my opinion very poor handling! the only positive was the stance. so be very careful when you consider spacers.

viju

sunilchakola and siddvi, have pmed you about the manual.

4x4addict - solely relying on web resources and product info from bilstein, the xterra is the closest match i could find. my search was from jul07 to jun08 period, by now there must be better resources on the web. definitely there will be another suv/soft-roader shock that will suit our sierra. infact the shock will not make the ride hard (this is the secret i was referring to ) evenif you select the hardest setting. i have chosen the regular setting as it was for oe for rear of xterra, which i feel turned out to be soft for sierra. btw, bilsteins are not adjustable.

about shocks from safari, i have never tried. my experiment with a new set of rear gabriel hydraulic ones resulted utter flop that it started making kudu-kudu sound just after 1K kms, may be my original weak coils were also partially responsible. this made take the painful, risky and costly route to bilsteins!

Sunil,

I have the same 235/75/15R tubeless tyres(MRF Zigma @ rear and Bridgestone Dueler @ front) on my Sierra and have seen no issues in my daily driving so far. On rare occassions when I do a sharp inclined turn(front facing down) the front tyres do mometarily get in contact with the fender.
However, recently when I went off-road I didn't have any scraping at all. My suspension/shocks/springs are all stock.

Not sure how Michellins are different from Zigmas and Duelers. May be the experts here know better.

Hello people, check out this modification...

Hello people, check out this modification...
Though this is not the Sierra but belongs to the same family. I think this is the TATA 207 or the 209 modified to do 'jungle safaris'....

The last pic is good .... but i am more worried about the bonnet getting dented and the front bumper getting scratch because of the lady`s heels.

Sierra was my all time favorite vehicle! When tata launched the turbo model with the more muscular looks after the skinny one I though that was the best thing ever that could happen. Sierra was the best car ever!

It was a very sad day for me when I learned that its production is being shut down and it will not be available for purchase any more!

Kudos to all of you guys out there who are still maintaining a wonderful vehicle in it full glory

WOW! Great.

Sunilchakola,
did you do these speeds with 235/75 michelins? If yes it is even more remarkable.
