Mahindra rules in the MUV, 4 wheel drive market. Maruti lacks focus. They have no solid plans. The marketing team is backing the gypsy and keeping it still in production. (lol, suzuki has nothing more to give to maruti).

I think the reason behind its high cost it that its widely being used as police car all over India. So may be Maruti wants to shell out as much as it can from government. May be.

What is the difference between ex-showroom price and 'On Road Price' for Gypsy. Can somebody please give an estimate ?

Road tax and Insurance for Gypsy cannot add upto 1L.
