I haven't done a test drive on A-Star yet, so couldnt comment here. But ultimately its the person who's going to drive it decides on what he wants. If Palio then (s)he should be ready for going through some rough courses in A.S.S. if not lucky other than than its a better product. From the reviews here I think Maruti's don't suffer that.

Personally I liked Palio after my first TD and have gone for it.

Should we not have the voting done once again, the previous one is dated, the manufacturing process, active and passive safety is far more elaborate and granular now.

I came looking for this information and landed on this page which is nearly 15 years old.
