even if it is initial honeymoon period, it seems a fairly vigorous one ;P
Mind quoting source for this "some report"??? I haven't seen many posts here on Team BHP booking i20, whereas there are many Linea's already booked - one delivered in Jalandhar as well.

If there's exists one "honeymoon period" for i20, I hope it gets over ASAP, so that Hyundai will price it properly.

I was just about to ask if someone has booked an I20 as I am hearing only about the Linea!! 2000 is quite less I would say in 20 days. About a 1000 Linea's must have been booked if we can assume. I am saying this as they had a monthly target of 2400 and 50% cars are booked (read it somewhere on Tbhp itself).

I have booked an i20 Asta yesterday and it is expected to be delivered in second week of Feb. I dont think Hyundai really cares about its sales in India as their main target for this car is European market. Annually, they plan to sell only about 15,000 units in India and about 1,20,000 will be exported. In that sense, i20 bookings have already exceeded target for the first month.

In my opinion, premiums are not determined by country of origin. It is the value add on the product that matters. LG, Samsung etc do charge a premium for many of their products in consumer electronics and white goods market.

Deliveries of i20 take almost 3-4 weeks. Might have started now.

Congratulations

What is the name of the colour and did you really like the Performance from the car ? I found it a little short of breath when revved up , and what is the OTR Price of the car ,and while you are at it check the insurance premium that they are offering with outside insurance agencies. Most new cars get exorbitantly high Premiums these days .
