Noticed this on the Fiat Linea website "3 alternatives of seat fabrics, AC Fascia and instrument panels"

Anyone has information on this?

Looks like Fiat have done a good job with the car. Now what remains to be seen is the A.S.S

Hello buddy !!

I had the same doubt, then I checked with my dealer. He told me that these are the 3 alternatives being provided in the different versions of linea (active, dynamic and emotion). Emotion ( in my case)... will come with all beige seat fabric. dynamic would come with mix of beige and blac and active with all black.

If somebody else could also confirm this please.

I beg to disagree. If any other manufacturer tries to bring their car upto ANHC level, then they will overshoot ANHC prices. So no question of being ripped. People here mention alloys & fog lamps are missing in ANHC. I wonder how many really miss them in ANHC .
SX4- Diesel is not present and the petroil sibling is not the most frugal
Verna- Stonker of an engine but without Airbags at a price close to 9 lacs
Fiesta - Handles well, good engine but not as rich looking as the Linea. Also Fiesta's engine doesn't have a predecessor like Swift-D (same engine as Linea)to back it up

So even though Indians had the option, it was never a complete package like the Linea.
ANHC is not a benchmark in any other respect except the engine.Let FIAT bring in the 1.9 MJD and we shall revisit this.I shall bet my money on the 1.9 MJD if it comes in SX4/Linea coz i know i would not be snubbed by a Honda dealer inspite of paying through the nose for the Honda badge.
Also a car of 8.5 lacs without alloys and fogs is not justified, No body misses these, but deserve these for the money they pay for the car.
Correct me if I am wrong, that when you go for the ANHC , even you would love to get alloys and fogs etc as standard equipment when your paying 8.5 lac?

Diabloo suggest some name for Fiat. How about FONDA?? Give it up buddy have seen enough of your Anti - Fiat comments.

Go see the no. of City buyers buying alloys for it. And you ll know how many actually miss the alloys in it.

The Honda City Killer is finally launched. The only thing that would prevent people from buying a Linea over a City would be the sales and service. If Fiat-Tata have that sorted, they have a Winner. Another thing that can help Fiat is to advertise the fact that the car(Linea) comes from the makers of Ferrari. Maybe they can create an Ad where the Linea is escorted by Ferraris. That would create a huge impact in the minds of people. On any day a Honda is no match for a Ferrari, be it on power or be it on Brand Image
Fiat should just have the comparison sheet in their websites, showrooms, etc. and the cars they should include are Octavia, ANHC, SX4, Verna and Fiesta, with bold highlights on the features and big fonts on price. Including Octavia is important according to me for those who may consider Octavia a premium car but consider costlier than it should be.

Until the manufacturer realize ABS+airbags thing is accepted by the buyer even at a premium, they will not make it mandatory across all variants.

About Honda and City, they can afford to do it cause they know Indian people are happy getting ripped by them just for the sake of badge Honda. For FIAT, A*S*S is more important than airbags and ABS for all variants. I hope this time FIAT will sort out this issue otherwise Linea will have an early death as Palio.
I disagree, this notion is changing. Team-bhp apart people are now more aware & seeing accidents happen & reports about how occupants are being saved due to abs & airbags contribute to a change in philosophy.
My cousin in canada had a horrible accident, thankfully he's fine;he told my father that the only reason he's alive is because the airbags came out.
There you go, we r selling one car soon, 2 be replaced with one with better safety.

Does anybody here think Linea's rear has been "inspired" by erstwhile Sonata Gold (old Sonata)?

Heres a pic of Sonata Gold rear:

Fiat is comparable to Skoda and not with Verna and SX4. Fiat is far superior. This is my view.

Top end model emotion pk is less than 8 lacs OTR price in Chennai. I think this is VFM. this model comes with abs, airbag, auto climate control etc.
If FIAT does the marketing well, New city and SX4 will have tough time.
best wishes Fiat!

Thats a smart catch. In the other thread, I was mentioning how Linea has the retro 70s look. Thats uncanny resemblance, or say 'inspiration'.

I know its changing, but it has not yet changed. Looking at the Omni sales, I still feel, people are less concerned about safety.

Mpower- the guy guy next to Shamik is the famous fashion designer Vikram Phadnis, he had a special winter collection esp for the Linea. So it was Shamiks troupe with Vikrams Models on the Linea launch.

Yes I have seen. Rims are black in color with a wheel cap in silver similar to the alloy wheel.
