Charging exhorbitantly for CBU's in Luxury SUV segment is fine as company really doesn't know the market (till Toyota Fortuner defined it recently) but doing the same in other segments (which are tried and tested by others) is like ripping us off.
GM now feels like there's a tremendous market in 18 Lac SUV (going by the number of bookings of Toyota Fortuner) and if it can provide a full blown SUV with everything what we like at a competitive price, it's game on.

So Chevrolet has gone ahead and messed up the Captiva - going for the 'family look'.

My personal opinion: Sighhh! The new headlamps are fine, but the sweetly balanced grille and bumper have now been replaced with the over-the-top trademark grille that Chevrolet thinks is 'sporty'. Rear is pretty much unchanged. More snaps can be found at Leftlanenews and many other sites.

The front looks more like a photoshop effort by an amateur. The grille somehow looks misaligned.

The rear is still good looking.
