I bought my Maruti Zen LX in Kolkata in 2000. Shifted to Bangalore in 2004, and got the car alongwith me. Paid the LTT in Bangalore then.
However I did not obtain any NOC from Kolkata PVD (RTO is called in that name there), and hence the registration is not changed.
Road Tax (it was annual road tax) in Kolkata was paid till the year when the vehicle was in Kolkata.
Can any one please advise if I need to pay the tax in West Bengal from 2004 to till date to get the NOC now?
Is there any member in Kolkata who has contacts in PVD. I will really be grateful if anyone can help me in this matter.
