I dont understand why people are cribbing so much about the engine of linea when the reviews say its smooth and refined and the car handles well.If you want a faster car and dont care about FE or the price, there are options like optra magnum or verna in diesel or even honda civic in petrol for a little bit more.In crowded towns/cities which are the main market for c/c+ sedans,+-10bhp does not make much of a difference. It is undeniable that VFM factor for the linea is very good for which fiat had to come up with a smaller engine and in these times of recession ,its makes a lot of sense to name it COTY.

Looking at real car and TD'ing it are two different aspects. The car is on display in Bangalore.

What do you believe people must do before voting here ? See all the cars in flesh, TD all the cars, Take all the cars to track etc. etc ?

It is naive to believe that everyone who voted for other cars TD'ed all the cars.

Tata Sumo Grande

I guess Tata's have got it rite & my pick would be the Tata Sumo Grande for it
refreshing looks & lot of muscle. I haven't TD it.

I see so many points on the Fiat Linea, Is the car available for a TD?

I think most of the popular TATA showrooms now have the Linea. The launch is just a few days away.

Rest assured, You wont see them in Honda showrooms for sure

Seeing cars on road is almost no different that seeing them in showrooms. As far as perception is concerned, that is what all votes are all about. As the cliche goes, "Perception is Reality" . There are a lot of us who have formed perceptions about Linea by seeing it in showrooms and by reading about it and hence have voted for it.

A lot of people have voted for cars because they bought those cars. Does that make their vote any less important ? I don't think so.

This is all about what people believe, is the most significant launch of the year. That's it. This is not about "which is the best car ?" because it isn't possible to do that. Look at the list, how can one compare A4 with A-Star ?

Why don't you post the members who voted for other cars in the Poll?
Am sure 90% of them never TD the cars they voted!

For Linea, there are plenty of TD reports by Automags, and all of them have given a
