How do you know it's beat?

Check the number. Its a GJ nos which is where the GM is located.

The Gujarat Regn. and the rear tail lamps has resemblance. The front view which I couldnt take showed its the Beat!

I have seen the beat pics in magazines and the version shown in auto shows looks good.I really like the way it looks.

Saw Transformer 2 yesterday and had a good look at the Chevy Beat. Looks kind of futuristic & funky. Here are a few stills from the movie. The Autobot is named as Skids and had a quiet cool & funny attitude !!

As for the movie it was fun action but not as good as the first one and yes Megan Fox was Hot !!

Yesterday I saw chevy car covered in black cloth from back and front on sarjapur road just before total mall. The person inside was collecting some data in USB stick. Not much clear as glass was tainted. I stopped and went to that car he humbly opened the glass window and when asked about the car he told it is unnamed car getting launched in Dec 09.
It was little bigger than spark. He agreed for a snap. Unluckily I left my mobile in car. Before I came back they zoomed away. So no snaps as of now :(
Also I asked about Cruze he said it would be launched in Sep/Oct 09.

My guess is that would be the Chevy Beat to be launched this year.

One of my best friend's brother is visiting GM. He is told that Cruze will be launched soon after June. Mainly their target is July-August, but things are getting delayed till September.

About small car, again they have set target of early 2010.

PS : I am not providing a confirmed news here. All I am putting is information that I have received. Please dont rely on this information. My friends' brother is visiting GM for accounts and not for some technical reason, so again the reliability is thin.

Yes size was something like the Chevy Beat. Looks more spacious than Spark. It had round lights at the back with tyre similar to Spark.

The front looks like a fusion of the Ritz and the Indica Vista. The rear is pretty close to that of the Ritz.
The speedo console is mounted on the steering column and there is a digital air-flow display in the center console.
Not too impressed with the interiors. That speedo display looks from an era of previous generation game consoles.
