i have voted for the xylo because of the following reasons:

1) my experience tells me mahindras are very reliable.
2) more bang for the buck when compared to the innova.
3) awesome interiors- more spacious and more practical, many thoughful features.
4) more torquey than the innova.
5) 2 lakhs cheaper than the innova.
6) better looking than the innova, i would just change the grille with something better.

grande, tavera & bolero is not in my wish list.

I don't want to buy anything today that doesn't have at least ABS. Period.

Xylo has good interiors and pricing but I do not want to crush my sedan and buy a family vehicle without the much needed safety features. So, the vote is for Innova.

Innova has only ABS with the higher end model. Which is much more costly than the XYLO.
I think Mahindra should have think ABS as a standard feature for the Vehicle. Big Vehicle with high speed really need a ABS. The ABS does not make much cost diff too.

Just Added. IMHO, the Rhino is a much better looking vehicle. Period. Safety wise, probably Xylo would win as its a much modern looking vehicle.

On the other hand look at Chevy's interiors and that of the Rhino

Amtak
thanks for posting that comparison - actually after seeing the same, I quite like the Chevy interiors - driver ergonomics looks quite good in comparison to Rhino

also the shut likes in the dash seems much better

anyway my choice in the poll is the XYLO -

Though I didn't like the looks of it, I concur with you on the fit and finish and the shut lines. As GTO has mentioned in one of his posts, the ergonomics (steering position) is horrible in case of the rhino. More tractor like! Last but not the least, ICML is slowing improving its dealer network and that also matters a lot in this age. They have 3 dealer ships in Mumbai as compared to 3-4 Chevy's. Mahindra & TATA win hands down.

I think I would go for Toyota Innova. I recently read the reviews of the car on Review New Toyota Innova Cars | Car Prices, Specifications & Features

I think the car is worth the purchase. I have also heard that Xylo is a great car but cant say anything on that at this stage when the car has just launched.

Will vote for the Xylo as it is from the mahindras. It would come with rock solid reliability for sure. Innova and Sumo grande comes second and third. Never will vote for Tavera, its got a hopeless ride.

For me, the answer is Innova. Absolutely nothing can beat it when it comes to space, practicality, comfort, refinement, ride quality, long distance travelling comfort.
One of the world class products from Toyota. Even with load, they manage to do good speeds for very long distance without fatigue.
Add to this the reliability of toyota and its surely a winner. Xylo is a nice effort, but its not the best one.

Voted for Xylo. I hope the front grill, the key impediment felt by many will get addressed and resolved by M&M soon.

I compared Xylo with grande for the interior and xylo wins hands down. I believe the M-eagle engine is trouble free performer.

While comparing Xylo with Innova's Price Xylo wins again.

However xylo's performance, niggles, teething problems are yet to be seen.

All captain seats with DVD player and DVD screen on all rear seat back with ABS & Airbag on A/Tat a price of 8.5lakhs maximum is my preferred Xylo variant ! M&M are you hearing?? Answer this positively in action M&M then I will forgive you for looting me on Club Mahindra

Innova for me

As an MUV, Innova stands out from the rest. Innova wouldn't have qualified for an SUV, but definitely it is my choice for a MUV.

Let the Xylo first prove itself. For the time being, and considering my fascination with all-round reliability, it is the Innova for me.

Despite Xylo, Innova still rules. Its much better in fit , finish and reliability.
