Good point. Yes, it was the Maybach. But if you look closely at the new S, it has the droopy butt of the Maybach as well as the raised boot lid of the 7. Almost like a fusion of the 7 & the Maybach.

Nice find buddy. I think you should have started a new threar in import car page with this update.

I again disagree; the boot lid of S & 7 is entirely different. S have a the boot lid very similar to that of the Maybach, but the 7's boot lid project sharpely in the top. So its different!

I saw a new 7 in gold today in KP, Pune. Probably the demo gold one that maverick mentioned above?
I has great road presence. Not sure if I like it or not, but it certainly stands out.

New-gen BMW 7-Series (F01/F02) spottings

I think its right time to start this thread before the new 7-Series get common enough.

Mods - I couldn't find any thread for the new 7 hence started this, if there is any please club it to it.

Here are the pictures of the the first new 750Lis I spotted. The first one kashmiere biege is displayed a the Navnit Showroom at Anderi (W). The second 750Li is the demo car.

One of my uncles is looking for a new high end luxury sedan & wanted me to get the opinion of which one is better, so I tested the new 750Li for a short distance of 10-15 kms. But I really enjoyed the drive, its a fantastic car to drive. It has also improved a lot from the last model.

I had some stunt as the salesguy told me that they normally recommend not to brake on the bend at the Lokhanwala back road, so I was happy & had a sharp turn in 80kph in sport mode & the car had a small under steer. Then on the second round on sport plus mode in 80+kph it had bigger under steer which was really scarry, but I really enjoyed it. On third round on comfort mode on 60-65kph it went stable.

Wow! The new design is fantastic! It looks damn long though. I've seen a lot of pics on the net, but for some reason these pics give a true sense of the design. I guess due to the 'local' back ground..

The front is so much like the concept CS with that massive kidney grill.
But I think the new 5 will be even close to the CS in terms of body styling.
