The LINEA is nothing but a GRANDE PUNTO with a boot. Ya its well integrated and does not look pasted on like the IKON, but it still is a boot plus car and not something designed ground up like the ACCENT.

What about Dzire's boot

Think about this, the DZIRE is a made in India car, the MARUTI engineers put their own caps on and designed the car exclusively for India.

Whenever we see one on the road, we say as another Lallu Lal ki Gaadi. Maruti made a Lallu of indian public, this was discussed to death in this forum even before the Dzire was launched and some fellow bhpian gave it the 'name'.

If you want to know the real value of a FIAT, buy one, bring it out of the showroom and try selling it, a car's real value is how the majority percieves it. The DZIRE in diesel will hold its value the best, years from now.

1. Logan - Not very exciting from both outside and inside. Tail lamps are ..... I do not know what to say
2. Fiesta - its like drinking diet pepsi with Vodka. They have put small seats to show that it has big room inside. C -segment is hundred horses atleast.
3. Verna - Remember we all went gaga when the first accent diesel was launched. We all again went more gaga when the CRDI came. They were the ones to basically reinvent Diesel in india. Overall it is a very good package. My vote is for verna.
4. Linea - Looks fresh. But will need steroids to run.
5. Optra - What to say somebody already quoted it "poor mans mercedes"
6. Dzire - Maruti should not have just pasted a boot. They should have done some work on the A - Pillar
7. Indigo - No comments
8. Octy - Old wine in new bottle.
9. Ikon - Car for the older generation

Isn't it too early to include Linea in this poll?

There is hardly any car owner at this stage and it's too difficult to judge the car based on small test drives or just specifications. It surely looks like a winner, but to be an actual winner, it has to prove it on the road (irrespective of how many get sold).

There is a certain hype around Linea, just like every other new car launch. Let it die down before you can include it in the poll.

Till now, my vote goes to Magum, but if Linea proves what it has promised, it clearly would be the winner by good margin.
