tacky front bumper coz of over design. Scorpio always ends up looking overdesigned and hence , a little messed up. so is the case with this one too. Welcome change are the side claddings which look way better than the current ones.Things that needed to go were the tall tail lamps. they are passe.

Looks better then current Gen Scorpio for sure... I wish they had not added those silver braces and kept it simpler as current one. Though it look like these braces are common among various M&M veichle say bolero, Xylo and now Scorpio. After all from a same Manufacturer

i think if you are not in a hurry, its better to wait for the new model.

else you can buy the current VLX as there are only cosmetic changes in the new scorpio.

Hi vaibhavraj, if you are not in a hurry then it would be advisable to wait for the new Scorpio. I checked at my dealer they said it is expected to be launched by March end - early Apr.

Looks like the chrome tusks on the front grill was inspired by a Walrus.

It seems that recently M&M has recruited designers from Korea or the Chinese hinterland. First the Bolero redesign, then the Xylo, then this. The Bolero redesign now almost looks handsome next to the Xylo and the Scorpio face-lift.

BTW, are they going to offer that 4x4 option in India?

I seriously find that new grill repulsive. If at all i were to buy one, i would try to get the old grill retrofitted. Rest of the changes i can live with, although the shape of the gear knob is another design flaw.

If it is a petrol scorpio, then this is not M hawk. M hawk is the name of the engine. Further this seems to be face lifted scorpio with M hawk graphics. All i heard about petrol scorpios was they are slow, lacked grunt and extre, mely thirsty. 1.8 /2.0 renault motor wasnt meant to be in Scorpio.

Cannot comment on its off road performance though!
