'Road presence' doesn't mean that the car should be the biggest in that category. In the hatch segment, Swift has the best road presence. I20 is nowhere near to it.

I've noticed that the Q7 always appears larger-than-life.

I understand 'Road Presense' to mean a certain poise, elegance and grace, something like a dishtinguished gentleman or an elegant lady. They are not necessarily big & handsome or even pretty, but they have a certain quality that makes them stand out from the hoi polloi.

On this count my list would be:

1. Rolls Royce & Bentley,

2. The E class from Merc.,

3. The Skoda Octavia - particularly the RS with full kit,

4. The old Honda City

5. Opel Astra,

6. Ford Mondeo

7. Fiat Uno

8. Those Audis with their awsome 'beards'.

9. Mini (not Indian - but small).

More to the point, I think the Maruti Zen Estilo has the best "road presence" of all cars!

Imports Lambo LP640
Luxo barge RR Phantom
Middle age barge 5 Series
SUV Range Rover

hey how about we have our lists separated for Indian and non-Indian market cars?

well so far i think the safari, sierra have one of the best road presence as for the smaller cars nothing as of yet had stunning presence but for now may be the good old Contessa, first Sonata and old Honda city.

edit: the merc i mean the 80's merc dont remember the model the retro one in say red color and was a coupe that had some awesome road presence.

well cars abroad, Mustang mates, RR Phantom, Rugged old Humvee for me, i mean the one with pick up cab at the end.
