I've seen quite a few of these Swift hatchbacks in North America. Apparently they are still popular with some people since they are so frugal. They were mostly sold here as the Geo Metro by GM.

The most unlikely vehicle I have caught, in the most unexpected of places, was an LML Verpa (or was it a Bajaj Chetak) in a Boston superbikes showroom. Somehow, it felt good to see a desi product being displayed in the midst of the finest from Japan. The owner told me that beach resorts (including from Hawaii!) place bulk orders for Indian scooters.

I do have a picture, but will have to hunt for it back home. Will try sourcing.

Pardon me, but whats unlikely in this picture? Is it very unlikely that an ambassador is pushed in kolkata like this?

It happens all the times in my state!

The most unlikely thing that I saw;
1. An ambassador abandoned on a street of Brunei!
2. A royal enfield bullet on the streets of NY! - (well, actually felt very good about it!)

At least please help the thread by posting their pictures and not merely quoting.

Royal Enfields are quite popular in North America. Now that they are not made in the UK anymore, a lot of them are exported by Eicher to Enfield fans all over the world, and there was a nice article about them in a bike magazine here as well.

I've seen a few here in Canada during the summer, but didn't have my camera with me.

Clicked another Premier Padmini taxi in Kolkata last week.Sorry for the picture of the Premier not being fully visible as it is camouflaged by an Ambassador.Premier taxis are very, very rare in Kolkata as a matter of fact!

Another one for this thread. Your beloved Maruti Zen, with a Maruti badge on it, in Hamilton, Bermuda's capital city.

A Kolkata policeman with a helmet (he salutes safety of course) and white dress on his Royal Enfield Bullet, on the right side of the road.

@anjan, Nothing un-usual about that cop & his bike. How Much OUT OF THE ORDINARY is that ? It's not that we never ever see such things in India. Just like that Amby being pushed.

Civil Lines, Nagpur that is. But nowadays the Access is selling a bit well and maybe the same picture looks a somewhat dated. However thats an imprint on the sands of time.
