Just got a call from Prasanna of Tafe Access regarding base variant Active Petrol price. It is 4.38Lacs and 2 months waiting period.

Is Skoda trying to net some Grande Punto customers?

Skoda needs a new engine and fast. If they launch a powerful petrol engine just below Honda Jazz, maybe they can get a part of the market share.

So the advert actually is to lure innocent customers to their showroom and sell the xpensive classic and ambient version
The quote i got for Classic Diesel after a discount of 45K is 6.28L O.T.R Mumbai
But I would like to ask
why to put such misleading adverts?
Is it not a case of cheating of trying to sell a product which does not exist and advertising it in a national newspaper?
anyways following is the contact number for JMD Auto thane

I have test drive the petrol Active model, but the diesel was also available. I got my Fabia diesel Classic @ 6.17 lac on road from Marikar motors- kerala. I shall put up my ownership experience soon- has covered 2000 km in 20 days.

Also I didnt find a catch for exchange or anything on it. Looks like Skoda is taking the right steps to sell Fabia.
