You really think 2nd hand Palio can come under 1L?

If palio comes less than 1L, I am in :-}

Why don't you check out the daewoo cielo, opel astra or the opel corsa. They might come close to your budget.

a gypsy? a friend of mine picked one up for 60k :D

Could get 3 Cielos, one in good running condition and the other 2 to supply spares for the first one. :)

2000 model maruti 800, non-AC. If one can find a single owner car, it would run for few more years

Used 800 / Omni is a good option (going great in this range)

May be to stretch a little bit and get a used Santro.

A friend of mine picked up a well maintained 1.6 GTX with CNG kit for 1.39 L. If a person is a good negotiator, they can pick up the 1.2 for 1 Lakh. Anything below that is difficult.

I am on the lookout for a 1.6 in the range of 1.5.

True! Also depends on the location. In Bangalore, it is not possible but quite possible in the west and the north.

You will get one after some real searching - hard to find and owners do not wish to sell :D

When I enquired to sell my 1998 Zen LX
the true value quoted price is 90,000 and I have decided to keep mine.

1998-2000 Zen Lx should be available under a lakh.

1988 MARUTI 800
