Alto rules because its a different car than estilo. It has low center of gravity and not a toll boyish design like estillo

Between the two at the price mentioned, the estilo is sure a good catch. It has better interiors, engine, space. Its just that I feel the alto handles better cause of its lower height,, whereas the estilo rolls a bit.

The Estilo is not available at the price of the Alto, the price gap is 40k after all discounts, and if it were the same price, I'll pick the Estilo anyday.

The Estilo is BY FAR, the Ugliest, Daftest and Gayest car India has ever seen. I would Definately buy an Alto. There is just no comparison.

As many members have pointed out, both cars have their pros and cons. But for sheer VFM, between the two, I would go in for an Estilo. IMHO the bigger, smoother engine and the increased space would be worth the extra 40K !

Go for Alto, it looks like a CAR. No offence to Estilo owners, it looks more like a golf cart. Old Zen was way better than Estilo.

If the Alto VX 1.1 was still available then I would have gone happily with the Alto, the cramped space not withstanding

But with the 800 CC engine no way would I buy the Alto in comparison to the Estilo's 1.1 ltr engine.
Estilo is better than the spark in both looks and the engine.

I think people hate the car mainly because of the usage of the Zen badge and the fact that it is available in pink.

I myself may not like driving the estilo but will gift it to my wife

. She says the car looks cute like a mini innova

Invest in Nano booking and hope that luck is in your favour during alottment

Reasons:

1. You save about 90K even if you go for Top model with all features
2. Not many people will disagree it looks too too too similar to Estillo, so why spend extra.
3. It certainly is the bigger car by space when compared to Alto.

If only given a choice between Alto and Estillo: Alto anyday!!! Estillo does not deserve to be prefixed 'Zen'.

First of all Zen - Estillo are like oxymorons (contradicting terms)!

Why spend any money on old technology cars!

My choice? - get a Nano! For that money you can get two.
And if you must choose between the two Maruti's, then it would be Estilo any day, a more refined engine, gear shift, space.
Someone has said here that the Estilo base version does not have power steering, but IMHO thats not that important, for these small cars the power steering does not make much difference.
