People spent years to design contraptions like these. I won't buy this even for 10 lakhs.

The treatment under the lights/grill, so radical, kind of things people try on concept cars. Styling has to look purposeful and not forced. Also, there is a phrase that you need to 'learn the rules to break the rules'. I feel they must have tried to get a styling which is more conventional but focus the energy on the quality and fit and finish. Now if the fit and finish is not up to the mark, it is going to look like a joke.

My first take. Front is good but something seems wrong with the grill. It looks a bid naked up front. The side has a deep crease. Maybe it was deliberate to give it "manly cuts". the rear has a really weird design line (if I may call it that). Looks standard size - no XL size here - not saying that is bad.

I feel the Bolero/Scorpio look a lot better now. Add ABS/Airbags and a bit more creature comforts to the Bolero and that would sell more than the XUV 5 aaahu aaahu (coughing badly

Don't know about the goodies yet but if they are not near Aria's then I think it should be a no brainer--- Aria looks a million bucks in front of this Design Blunder. Whats with those cuts in the grill, side profile is innova, xylo combined, back still looks okay.

If Tata fix their QC and A** , They can rule the market with those stunners like Safari and Aria.

I liked the interiors. The pic in the prev page is nice. For me the rear spoils it big time. I hated the DESIGN (like a Lotus flower) on rear hatch door. What a Korean kinky design!

The only saving grace are the interios, especially the dashboard. I think the front seat row is a bit cramped like Scorpio.
