Launch is on 28th September. And not all cities across MH either. Pune/Mumbai/Nagpur in 1st lot.
Mahindra is also asking dealers to create a separate servicing workshop for the XUV. In Pune, Sahyadri and Silver Jubilee are doing it.
The plan is to position this as the premium SUV with a separate servicing network. Eventually Scorpio will be added to this premium service network.

Pricing could be around the 15L mark and is directly targeted at the Aria.

If the price starts at 12L it is excellent then. IMO i feel that prices will start at 15 - 19 costing 18-22 on road.

Top end Xylo was priced 2 lacs cheaper than innova. Going by the same logic, XUV500 will be priced around 18 lacs ex showroom for the top end variant with a little more features than the Fortuner.

luckily they have two choices of interiors - dark ones for the dark shades of vehicle and lighter ones for lighter coloured vehicles.
all in all it looks very wicked.
My pal from the M&M dealership said they are all at a boot camp sort of thing in Pune right now for training on this vehicle
Should know the price and other things in another week or so according to him.
He said the same thing - End Sep/ Early Oct - maybe 28 Sep itself!

The interiors look great. Hope the quality of plastics is good. Looks like Mahindra have adopted that famous 'waterfall-dash' theme. I see it in almost every SUV today. Mahindra will look to target the Aria, with this product. I'm guessing the price would be marginally lower than the Aria too.

Good job Mahindra.

Let's hope this new SUV would be more of a challenge for car-thieves than the Scorpio.

The interiors look good. The front as well seems to give more of a bold look with the big bumper, muscle coming out on the wheel arches. Its looking really good!!
IMO, 12L ex-showroom might be wishful thinking. I think it will be around 19-20 OTR.

The interior color is really disgusting!! I hope they have an all black interior on offer as well. The AC Vents look like they were designed by a Spider Man fan !!

Interiors look high quality. I especially like the central arm-rest and hand-brake lever. Strange but true

However, the colour-scheme is just wrong. They've tried something new, but it isn't really working. And why are they keeping the mosquito-coil AC vents???
