M&M already has a STINGER in its stables, but without a sting!

fortuner is a ready vehicle. It can't be this

Its something very new (possibly by mahindra), as they are using a contraption as headlight. so order might not have been placed for oem headlamps.

PS: why doesn't mahindra improve the ones they already have, instead of putting same engine in a different khoka.

well M&M sells what it makes, not what people want!

M&M is least interested in what public wants!

thats why we see such combinations of same engine in a different khoka!

anyway why would M&M invest in a new engine when the olders ones are doing the duty!

So true!

This could be a civilian version of AXE! Use of same engine & a slightly diff. khokha, taking the game to the next level!

hmmn,
this vehicle is interesting!! Looks big, wide and has a high bonut line. Could be similar to rexton!! I believe this to be a 4 wheel independent suspended vehicle and will be pitched against the likes of fortuner, CRV, Captiva and even the Endevour!!

M&M has sucessfully reached 13 lakh bracket never thought possible for this brand!! they are taking the game to another level trying to reach 20 lakh bracket.

Way to go Mahindra!! All the best!!

wow this vehicle is just huge. The wheels are larger than any other vehicle in it's class. Whichever company launches it, it would be fun to see it on road eventually.

This is a Mahindra, alright. It's going to make the Safari run for cover.

its not going to compete against the Safari for sure. Tata is going to launch Indicruz Crossover SUV, this is M & M's Crossover SUV and it will compete with indicruz

as per Pawan Goenka's statement . the new SUV will be positioned above Scorpio's price point, he has said it will be launched in 2010, But looking at ingenio's delay of 2 years. i guess it will be there in market only after 2011

[quote=badboyscad;1182583]Caught this test mule on the tindivanam - chennai highway. I guess this is a new Mahindra vehicle(telling from its tail lights which are from the old scorpio). The vehicle was humongous when viewed from the alto, the driver said that it was an army vehicle(which is definitely not true, telling from the ORVM indicators) and he politely refused to give any more details about the make. Couldn't get any more pics since i was in a hurry.

You can see concept similarity with Indicruz

a pretty large suv..
hey doesn't the current prado have the similar tail lamps?
definitely not the new scorpio as mahindra already has given it a facelift.
this is a totally new platform from mahindra's side.
lets hope it releases soon.
2010 is kinda a long wait.

and ya
way to go mahindra(if the vehicle is a mahindra)

Impressive scoop, but there isn't any info we can derive from it, the only thing familiar is the tail lamps (which is easily available after market).

Both Tata and Mahindra use those huge round lights on their test mules. I guess it must be either the new Mahindra SUV especially since its a MH 15 reg. similar to the Xylo test cars (Tata uses MH 14). It could also be the new Safari, but I doubt it since this must be based on the Indicruz platform and would have twin exhausts as against the single on this car. But the profile on the front side fender where the head lamp indicators sit look similar to the Vista/Indicruz.

Well, it has to be a Mahindra vehicle. Not only because of the tail lights but there are other signs as well. The biggest being the support vehicle which is a scorp. And no, it is not just an arbitrary vehicle chosen by a manufacturer. Its a proper M&M support vehicle. Look at that panel below the 3rd window. Look closely in full blown up size. Its the M&M logo. Which means that Scorp belongs to M&M.

As far as my knowledge goes, MH-15 = Nashik.
