Infractions: 0/1 (5)

generally there is no reason to camouflage already launched vehicles this heavily. Plus the ugly trade mark chrome walrus tooth is clearly visible. I think this is the Mahindra too.

It should definitely give the Fortuner a run for it's money.

That's the W201.Its got a more upright stance compared to the sleek Muranno. And the difference in the front bumper of both cars are clearly visible around the number plate.

How did I miss this Vehicle? I saw a convoy of 5 test vehicles in the same ghats going towards Conoor/Ooty after Metupallyam yesterday evening (19/05). 2 Xylos (MH-15), 2 Pik-ups (MH-15) & one scorpio (KA-01). Sorry was unable to take any photos.

Ssangyong Motor up for sale, India's Mahindra eyes bid

Could be that they brought it to India for a Technical feasibility study....

This could be momentous for Mahindra. China is a big market, and going forwards, Mahindra parts may become cheaper

Great news for Xylo/Scorpio owners like me, but wonder what plans Mahindra has with the new world SUV?

I had random thoughts of replacing my M-Hawk with some similarly reliable , robust and sturdy contender. The new mahindra suv seemed a worthy contender, however with these sneak peeks at the vehicle i have doubts. The doubts are:-
Can it beat scorpio in ruggedness?
Can it beat scorpio in road presence?
Can it beat scorpio in maintanence costs?
Can it beat scorpio in practicality?
...and more
even after paying 1.5 times the cost of Scorpio.
Yes it would surely be an improvement on
1)Passenger Comfort
2)Handling
3)Features
4)Looks (for few)
5)Power
Lets wait for the numbers to be out.

I own a scorpio and i have seen this test mule numerous times. The W201 is enormous and surely beats the scorpio in road presence.

Well, you are not very far off though; It is owned by a Chinese firm.

I have heard many people refer to Ssangyongs as Chinese cars. Interesting though, as it sounds like Samsung.
