Chrome finish for the dials, brown interiors and a steering wheel from the Scorpio? The brown interiors look bad. I hope they dont screw up with the interiors and give one proper finish. The centre console looks like its from the 1990s. The Aria has better interiors IMHO

I guess by 7 speed he meant 6+1 reverse, that itself is a great achievement for a Mahindra SUV.

First pic reveals that there is indeed 6 speed gearbox.
But I seriously hope this is not the final product in terms of fit and finish. The interiors look really tacky at places , and what's with the colour scheme and seat cover choice

Great! I think the following features can be safely assumed to be present in the top end W201:

1) Automatic Climate control
2) Automatic wipers
3) Automatic headlights
4) Cruise control
5) GPS screen with vehicle info like in Xylo
6) 6 speed gearbox
7) Volume controls on steering
8) Tyre pressure sensors
9) Reverse sensors
10) Airbags
11) AWD
12) ABS with EBD
13) Electronic Stability Program
14) Traction Control system
15) Hill terrain Assist
16) 140-150 bhp mHawk engine
17) Daytime running LEDs

There seems to be a puddle of oil underneath the vehicle. I hope it doesn't come with this feature as well in addition to what Raj listed.

Hi,
Most of these are embellishments (of varying degrees of usefulness), which any manufacturer can buy out and fit. I would forgo most of these for dynamic behavior, and crash survivability befitting a modern vehicle with global aspersions.

The interiors look alright. Hope they improve the fit and finish in the production version. But from the prototype, it seems like the car is quite some time from launch (probably about a year?).

The SUV seems huge and tall. Hope they find ways to control the body roll.

Mahindra almost always manages to pull off all of the above, including the tacky looking interiors.

As I mentioned eariler - This looks like the Tata Aria, I have attached a pic I took recently. Please compare the shape. Also I did take a ride and the interiors is the same as in the shown pic.

Why would they test the ARIA under camouflage, when the ARIA test cars are all over the place with the covers already ripped off ? If you search some threads on ARIA, it's all there
