I cannot stop thinking of .. but it appears that XUV500 will make Bolero and Scorpio sell as hot cakes! Now it all rests with the pricing. If it is under 10 lacs, killer cheetah it is. If not, Mahindra is repeating Tata Aria.

That's one ugly looking front grill ,The LED look so after market just like the ones we see on a swift these days ,i like rear end design and the interiors look good too. hope they are launching the automatic version along with the manual .

IMHO,renderings from magazines had better design,those cuts below the headlight rear looks weird,side profile has lots of body lines ,ruins the profile.IMO design wise this isn't what i was expecting ,maybe competitive pricing helps...

Interiors is totally unbelievable for Mahindra. Xylo, Scorpio and Bolero are no match! So the saving grace for XUV500 is the interiors. And whats that BULL HORN style curve at the back doing in a "CHEETAH" inspired design?

The whole design reeks as if copies of various good bits from cars such as the Aria,Pajero and the Hyundai's fluidic style has been taken to a lab and been worked upon by idiots who have no taste whatsoever.The car is simply awful and too cheesy,the Scorpio sold because the styling was clean and butch.Tata's Aria looks way way better.Inspired by the Cheetah? Ha ha the Cheetah is such a majestic creature! I really dont know what the chief designer was doing,looks like his boss told him he didn't a good job with the original and he is overpaid,and therefore went overboard.

Maybe because it is dark one can't really make out much? Anyway, the grille looks overdone, the sides look good. But the tail looks weird. What's with the wiper stuck at that angle and why is it mounted on a strange looking "thing"?

Interiors look great, no doubt about it. Wish the colour of the Infotainment thingy was different though. Love the steering wheel and dials. Just for the interiors, this one looks worth 12L. Will have to see about the last row & luggage space with the last row up.

A good effort, IMHO. Now for the specs?

I am signing off. Will wait till I read review in TBHP. Mixed feelings about this so called CHEETAH. I like the interiors, but I hate the quirkiness of the front bumper and rear door design.
