Global models mentioned and would this be their new way to respond to VW? Looks like the Laura is called the new octavia? A lot of models seem to have two engine options..Is this just a redirection/cache of the worldwide website or are they going to rationalize their product naming to be similar to the global one..?

lol: SO they finally decide to stop bluffing the Indian consumer taking the alias name out from the new octavia.

Seems like a lot of new stuff is happening with Skoda !! Way to go !!

This is more of a technical issue relating to the website.

The indian website when navigated does not take you to the above URL. You have to know the URL to be able to access this page.

That does not look like the india website to me. It shows the international range.

The link however goes from the Indian site itself. But everything else doesnt look like an Indian site.

IP address of site skoda-auto.co.in is 193.108.106.99. This IP belongs to Czech Republic.

a number of product companies do that - post the launch site, for details, they take you their singapore site or AP site for further details..it could be a case of either they preparing for a rename of their family or a technical fault.. the uRL still does start with a .in though..

I think its the international site .. If not good move to phase out the old octavia and bring in the new one by replacing the laura

The new Superb looks like the 3 series in that side profile pic.

thats an inadvertent error on the behalf of skoda, or just a plain showcase of the stuff they sell abroad and we wont get.
