Maclaren,

COMPLETELY true. Every word of it, except for the three grammatical errors I made! Sorry about that.

Did Skoda recruit you as the new Skoda Corporate?

Cheers.

And pray, where do we find them?!

IMHO they are a dying breed, if not already extinct.

Cheers,

Hi Harish,
I have sent all the documents and my past Year's correspondese with Skoda to you. The Engine Stalling Problem in my Fabia 1.4 MPI still continue, but Skoda continues to play the delaying game, and worse does not even acknowledge any defects in the 1.4 MPI model. I am totally frustrated with Skoda, count me in for the class action suit. I have never come across such a dishonest bunch of people as I have seen in Skoda.
Regards,
Gaurav

Amazing story Mr. Narayan. The MD here was Khattar?

Cheers,
Ravv, finding them is the consumer's job. Having said that, it's hard for consumers of news to pick quality because there is just so much media today. You have to know where to look.

1. You were very lucky that the MD did not call the cops and claim theft.
2. Two wrongs do NOT make a right.
3. As a senior journalist (editor) you could have 'called in a few favours' and got the service that you were entitled for.

I feel for Harish. Not as much for all the trouble he has gone though but becuase even today he continues to pay EMIs on a car he cannot drive. Skoda/Nummer Eins/JMD might have made mistakes but the fact that till today after they have seen all the evidence on this thread the fact that ehy have not yet resoved Harish's case leaves me wondering.

Completely OT.

When teh M1000 was launched, DD had a mono\poly over the air waves, and Maruti was a virtual PSU.

That is when a PYT inverviewed the MD of MSIL on DD 1. And she asked point blank: "why are you thrusting an underpowered oversized on the Indian population".

Few weeks later, the esteem with a bigger engine was announced.

Harish bought a new car . He'd called asking me which car would give him a "trouble free" ownership experience. I recommended him one that's at the other end of the spectrum (of his Octavia + Skoda experience).

@ Harish : Do open up a thread announcing the new baby.

If it is a stopgap buy then it must be a Swift Dezire, or else, Honda City.

Congrats Harish:

Look forward to hearing your new baby. Any baby that is not as mentally and physically retarded like your previous one will do. This means a car far away from one made by Skoda. So I know for sure you will have a great experience.

Cheers and also look forward to the class action suit!

Honda has had it's issues too. Hyundai would be the car to get if A.S.S is your top priority.
